from Meredith Road
Meredith Road Baptist Church have links to ministries not just across Coventry, but in other countries through our missionary involvement. We call this our 'Wider Work'.
Meredith Road Baptist Church donates around 10% of our income to these various Christian ministries.
BMS World Mission
BMS was founded in 1792 by the Baptist movement, and now works in 30 countries.
Our Link Missionaries are Peter and Louise Lynch working in Bangladesh since April 2018, providing support, training and pastoral care to baptist pastors. ​
Coventry City Mission
CCM is based at the Deedmore Centre in Wood End engages in many forms of outreach including Café Church, Foodbank, Building Blocks baby equipment lending service, second-hand clothing, and provides lunches and outings for the elderly. ​
Christians Against Poverty
CAP, founded in 1996, now runs
280 debt advice centres in the UK, providing free counselling and money management. They are able to negotiate with debtors to help clients to gradually become debt free. We support the Coventry CAP managed by Ian Burton.
Christian Camping International
Christian Camping CCI promotea and supports Christian camping throughout the world, as a means of serving the Church to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.
Ann Baker, based in Somerset, works for CCI as a children’s and youth worker, and frequently visits ministries in Albania.
Ann is an MRBC Associate Member.​
Coventry House of Prayer
Our local House of Prayer provides a place where all Christians from any church in Coventry can come together with unity of purpose to seek God, pray and intercede for our city, nation and the world.
They are trained by and linked to Ffald-y-Brenin and meet in several locations across the city.

Heart of England Baptist Assocation
HEBA supports our leadership with advice on leadership, safeguarding, and lots more.
We give to HEBA's Home Mission Fund which mostly supports pioneering churches in new locations, until they are able to fully fund this themselves.
Heartlink
Passion for the lost, caring for the needy.
Heartlink is a charity formed to support the work of NJ Varughese at Shanti Bhavan medical centre in Jharkand, India, and Timoteos Bible School in Sliven, Bulgaria.
Les Wade is the contact person for Heartlink.
MAF
Missionary Aviation Fellowship (MAF) is a Christian mission organisation that uses planes to overcome these barriers.
MAF pilots and personnel deliver relief workers, doctors, pastors, school books, food, medicines – which can only be safely and speedily transported by air.
Andy Symmonds trained at Coventry airport. With his wife Helen and their children they serve in Papua New Guinea.
Mission Direct
Mission Direct equips volunteers to join their mission partners in select overseas locations for 2-week short-term mission trips to build homes, schools/classrooms, hospitals and rescue centres, etc
Andrew is our link person, and sometimes leads groups of volunteers.
SAT-7
In 1995 a Christian Arabic satellite TV channel was born. Over SAT-7’s 25 years on air, viewers have grown in their understanding of Christianity.
Today there is a much higher level of awareness of who Middle Eastern Christians are, what they believe and what they practice.

Thrive Youth Ministries
Thrive based in Leamington Spa is led by Andy Castle. Their vision is to support local churches in their existing youth work to reach more young people by training, mentoring and website of resources.

WEC International
WEC International founded in 1913 aims to mobilise Christians to reach the unreached peoples on every continent. Their UK Headquarters moved to offices in Coventry in 2016.
Several WEC missionaries have been church members, and been supported by the church. Chrissie is our link person.
