Activities for Young People

"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity."

1 Timothy 4:12 NIV

TROGs

Most Sunday mornings, teenagers can enjoy Bible reading, sharing, discussion, and prayer in our own TROGs group.

TROGs stands for “The Rather Older Group”!

We begin by worshipping with the adults at 10:30am, then around 10:45am we head to the Youth Lounge for our own session.

At about 11:45am, we rejoin the adults for drinks and biscuits.

On some Sundays, we stay in the main service for the Bible teaching if the message is appropriate, particularly during café-style, all-age family services.

Youth Cell

Many of our young people gather fortnightly on Wednesdays, at a parent's home for an evening Bible Study and chat.

We also have an older Youth House Group for those in their 20s.

If you would like to join one of them, contact us.

BULLETPROOF - TEMPORARILY ON HOLD

BULLETPROOF is a youth club for secondary school students in Years 7–11 (approximately ages 11–16). It runs on alternate Tuesday evenings during term time, from 7:00–8:30pm.

BULLETPROOF offers a fun mix of activities, including games, quizzes and chips, film nights, and chilled-out evenings. We also encourage young people to think, discuss, and learn together in a relaxed environment. Participation is free.

From time to time, we organise optional outdoor trips (such as bowling or karting) at a minimal cost.

New to Faith?

We love helping people get to know more about us and what we believe. The church leadership regularly runs courses to help you find out more like:

ALPHA - What is the meaning of life?

BAPTISM - Why would you want to do that?

MEMBERSHIP - Can I get more involved?
